Johnnie L. Powell Jr.

Deacon

Deacon Powell did not foresee hisself being promoted in the Kingdom of God because he lived such a life that was deep in sin. God never left him and eventually  he received the Lord as his Savior. He is so excited, thankful, and full of joy to even have the opportunity to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, his God, in the capacity that he is able to. To be chosen to serve God as a Deacon in our church is an honor that comes with a committed obligation to serve. He desires to do it with joy as he continues to obey God's Word.
